Nic - love the different modes. what is the order of operation with The Baton? We run the mode prompt once, and from there on, should we modify The Baton so it will prompt for the different modes?
1. If I know exactly what problem I want to solve, I deploy The Baton: build a prompt custom-fit for the task. As you know, this installs a precise mode for the problem at hand. Then, if the thread evolves beyond the initial scope, I inject a new mode as needed. For example:
---
Let's switch gears for this next task.
Your mode: Explorer.
Your identity: Divergent generator. Possibility space engineer.
{deliver details about the next milestone}
---
With a few go-to modes in the back pocket, it's easy to switch directions on a dime.
2. If I'm starting a thread where I expect a wider surface area of exploration, I deploy Install the Modes from the start. The system-level spell anticipates my needs and adapts to every problem type that comes up.
3. My heaviest-leverage prompts combine both: Baton for the precise structure, Install the Modes baked in so the system shifts cognition as the work evolves.

Thanks, Rob! Here's how I wield them together:

A post on that combo is on the way!
thanks Nic - will try it that way!
Hyped to hear how it goes! Keep me tuned in on how you deploy them.
